Number of colleges in 1990 = 40000
Number of colleges in 2000 = 80000
Sum of Number of colleges from 1960 t0 2000 = 5000 + 10000 + 20000 + 40000 + 80000
Total number of years = 5

##### Correct Option: B

According to given graph in question ,
Number of colleges in 1960 = 5000
Number of colleges in 1970 = 10000
Number of colleges in 1980 = 20000
Number of colleges in 1990 = 40000
Number of colleges in 2000 = 80000
Sum of Number of colleges from 1960 t0 2000 = 5000 + 10000 + 20000 + 40000 + 80000
Total number of years = 5

 Required average = ( 5 + 10 + 20 + 40 + 80) × 1000 5

 Required average = 155000 = 31000 5

1. By what percent is the number of medical colleges in 1980 less than that in 1980?

1. According to given graph and pie chart in question ,
Percent of Medical colleges in 80’s = 12%
Number of colleges in 80’s = 20000
Percent of Medical colleges in 90’s = 8%
Number of colleges in 90’s = 40000

 Number of Medical colleges in 1980 = 20000 × 12 = 2400 100

 Number of Medical colleges in 1990 = 40000 × 8 = 3200 100

 ∴ Required percent = 3200 - 2400 × 100 3200

##### Correct Option: A

According to given graph and pie chart in question ,
Percent of Medical colleges in 80’s = 12%
Number of colleges in 80’s = 20000
Percent of Medical colleges in 90’s = 8%
Number of colleges in 90’s = 40000

 Number of Medical colleges in 1980 = 20000 × 12 = 2400 100

 Number of Medical colleges in 1990 = 40000 × 8 = 3200 100

 ∴ Required percent = 3200 - 2400 × 100 3200

 Required percent = 800 = 25% 32

1. What is the % increment in the number of colleges from 1960 to 1980?

1. On the basis of given graph in question ,
Number of colleges in 60’s = 5000
Number of colleges in 80’s = 20000

 Required percentage increase = 20000 - 5000 = 300% 5000

##### Correct Option: A

On the basis of given graph in question ,
Number of colleges in 60’s = 5000
Number of colleges in 80’s = 20000

 Required percentage increase = 20000 - 5000 = 300% 5000

 Required percentage increase = 15000 × 100 = 300% 5000

1. The difference in number of management colleges in 1980 to 1990 is :
