r sinθ = √3
r cosθ = 1
On squaring and adding,
r2sin2θ + r2cos2θ = 3 + 1
⇒  r2 (sin2θ + cos2θ) = 4

Again, 
r sinθ
= √3
r cosθ

⇒  tanθ = √3 = tan 60°
⇒  θ = 60°
