As per the given in question , we draw a figure of triangle ABC

∠ABC = 90°
Given , AB = 24 metre , BC = 10 metre
∴ AC = √AB² + BC²
AC = √24² + 10²
AC = √576 + 100
AC = √676 = 26 metre
