  1. In ∆ABC, ∠A < ∠B. The altitude to the base divides vertex angle C into two parts C1 and C2,with C2,adjacent to BC. Then
    1. C1 + C2 = A + B
    2. C1 – C2 = A – B
    3. C1 – C2 = B – A
    4. C1 + C2 = B – A
Correct Option: C

Firstly , We draw a figure of triangle ABC

∠BAC < ∠CBA
∠CDA = ∠CDB = 90°; ∠C1 > ∠C2
∠A + ∠C1 = 90°
∠B + ∠C2 = 90°
∴ ∠A + ∠C1 = ∠B + ∠C2
∴ ∠B – ∠A = ∠C1 – ∠C2
