Each interior angle of a regular polygon is three times its exterior angle, then the number of sides of the regular polygon is :

1. 9
2. 8

As per the given question ,
If the number of sides of regular polygon be n, then

(2n - 4) 90°	=	360°	× 3
n		n

⇒ 2n – 4 = 4 × 3
⇒ 2n = 12 + 4 = 16
∴ n = 8
