Divided by 2 on both sides ,

⇒ x +	1	=	3
	x		2

On cubing,

⇒ x³ +	1	+ 3		x +	1		=	27
	x³				x			8

⇒ x³ +	1	+ 3 ×	3	=	27
	x³		2		8

⇒ x³ +	1	=	27	-	9
	x³		8		2

=	27 - 36	= -	9
	8		8

∴ x³ +	1	+ 2 = 2 -	9	=	7
	x³		8		8
