  1. If the ratio of the angles of a quadrilateral is 2 : 7 : 2 : 7, then it is a
    1. trapezium
    2. parallelogram
    3. square
    4. rhombus
Correct Option: B

Let angles of quadrilateral are 2y , 7y , 2y and 7y .
The opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.
As we know that Sum of four all angles of quadrilateral is 360° .
⇒ 2y + 7y + 2y + 7y = 360°
⇒ 18y = 360°
⇒ y = 20°
∴ One angle = 2y = 2 × 20 = 40°
Second angle = 7y = 7 × 20 = 140°
∴ 140 + 40° = 180°
