Direction: In the following questions two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations and give answer

( 2 ) if x ≥ y
( 3 ) if x < y
( 4 ) if x ≤ y
( 5 ) if x = y or the relationship cannot be established.

  1. Ⅰ. 5x + 2y = 31
    Ⅱ. 3x + 7y = 36

Correct Option: A

Given that :- Given that :- Ⅰ. 5x + 2y = 31 .....( 1 )
Ⅱ. 3x + 7y = 36 .....( 2 )
Solving these two linear equations, we get x = 5, y = 3 .
x > y is correct answer .
