⇒ x2 - 4x - 3x + 12 = 0
⇒ x( x - 4) - 3( x - 4) = 0
⇒ ( x - 4) ( x - 3) = 0
⇒ x = 4 or, 3
Ⅱ. y2 - 12y + 32 = 0
⇒ y2 - 8y - 4y + 32 = 0
⇒ y( y - 8) - 4( y - 8) = 0
⇒ ( y - 8) ( y - 4) = 0
⇒ y = 4 or, 8
Thus , x ≤ y is required answer .
