a2 + b2 + c2 = 2a – 2b – 2c – 3
⇒  a2 – 2a + b2 + 2b + c2 + 2c + 1 + 1 + 1 = 0
⇒  (a2 – 2a + 1) + (b2 + 2b + 1) + (c2 + 2c + 1) = 0
⇒  (a – 1)2 + (b + 1)2 +(c + 1)2 = 0
⇒  a – 1 = 0 ⇒ a = 1
⇒  b + 1 = 0 ⇒ b = –1
and c + 1 = 0 ⇒ c = –1
∴  2a – 3b + 4c = 2 + 3 – 4 = 1
