√3	× side² = 9√3

⇒ Side² = 9 × 4 = 36
⇒ Side = √36 = 6 metre
∴ BD = 3 metre
AD = √AB² - BD² = √6² - 3²
= √36 - 9 = √27
= 3√3 metre
