If a discount of 20% on the marked price of a shirt saves a man Rs. 150, how much did he pay for the shirt ?

Given Here , discount = 20% and Saved money = Rs. 150
Let the marked price of the shirt be Rs. y.
According to the question,

y ×	20	= 150
	100

⇒ y =	150 × 100	= 750
	20

∴ Price paid = ₹ (750 – 150) = ₹ 600
