If 30 men working 9 h per day can reap a field in 16 days, in how many days, will 36 men reap the field working 8 h per day ?

Here M₁ = 30, D₁ = 16,
T₁ = 9, M₂ = 36 and T₂ = 8
By formula, M₁D₁T₁ = M₂D₂T₂
30 x 16 x 9 = 36 x D₂ x 8
∴ D₂ = (30 x 16 x 9)/(36 x 8) = 15 days
