    1. A loss of 5%
    2. A gain of 51/19
    3. A loss of 51/19
    4. A loss of 55/19
Correct Option: A

S.P. = 90% of (3/4 of Rs. 400) + 110% of (1/4 of Rs. 400)
= Rs. (90/100 x 3/4 x 400) + Rs. (110/100 x 1/4 x 400)
= Rs. (270 + 110) = Rs. 380
∴ loss% = (20/400 x 100)% = 5%
