A sum of ₹ 9000 is to be distributed among A, B and C in the ratio 4 : 5 : 6. What will be the difference
between A’s and C’s shares?

1. ₹ 600
2. ₹ 1000
3. ₹ 900

Correct Option: D

A’s share = 9000 ×	4
	15

= 600 × 4 = ₹ 2400

C’s share = 9000 ×	6
	15

= 600 × 6 = ₹ 3600
∴ Difference = 3600 – 2400 = ₹ 1200
