  1. In a business A and C invested amounts in the ratio 2 : 1, whereas A and B invested amounts in the ratio 3 : 2. If their annual profit be Rs. 157300, then B’s share in the profit is
    1. Rs. 24200
    2. Rs. 48000
    3. Rs. 36300
    4. Rs. 48400
Correct Option: D

A : C = 2 : 1 = 6 : 3
A : B = 3 : 2 = 6 : 4
∴  A : B : C = 6 : 4 : 3
∴  Sum of the terms of ratio = 6 + 4 + 3 = 13

∴  B’s share = Rs.
4
× 157300 = Rs. 48400
13
