The area of an equilateral triangle is 4√3cm². The length of each side of the triangle is :

Using Rule 6,
Area of the equilateral triangle

=	√3	× side²
	4

∴ 4√3 =	√3	× side²
	4

⇒ side² =	4√3 × 4	= 16
	√3

∴ Side = √16 = 4 cm
