A lawn is in the form of a rectangle having its breadth and length respectively in the ratio 2 : 3. The area of the lawn is 600 sq. metres. Find the length of the lawn

Correct Option: B

2x × 3x = 600
⇒ 6x² = 600
⇒ x² = 100
⇒ x = 10
∴ Length = 3 × 10 = 30 metre
