Given in question , speed of a boat in still water = 6 kmph and the speed of the stream = 1.5 kmph
Rate downstream = (6 + 1.5) kmph = 7.5 kmph
Rate upstream = (6 – 1.5) kmph = 4.5 kmph
Distance = 22.5 km
According to the question,

∴ Required time =
22.5
+
22.5
7.54.5

Required time = 3 + 5 = 8 hours.
