Let Number of other workers except officers = n
According to question ,
∴ 12 × 400 + n × 56 = (n + 12) × 60
⇒ 4800 + 56n = 60n + 720
⇒ 60n – 56n = 4800 – 720
⇒ 4n = 4080

⇒ n =	4080	= 1020
	4

∴ Total number of workers = 1020 + 12 = 1032
