Average daily salary of women ⇒ Rs. (p – 10)
Average daily salary of boys ⇒ Rs. (p – 20)
According to the question,
7p + 11 (p – 10) + 2 (p – 20) = 20 × 257.5
⇒ 7p + 11p – 110 + 2p – 40 = 5150
⇒ 20p – 150 = 5150
⇒ 20p = 5150 + 150 = 5300
