Direction: In each of the questions below, is given a statement followed by two assumptions numbered I and II. An assumption is something supposed or taken for granted. You have to consider the statement and the assumptions and decide which of the assumption(s) is/are implicit in the statement.

    The Government has decided to provide monetary relief to the farmers in the drought hit areas.

    I. The farmers of the affected area may accept the Government relief.
    II. The Government machinery may be able to reach the affected farmers to provide relief.

It is the plan of the Government to provide a relief to the farmers. It means the Government must be assuming that the plan can be executed. Infact the objective cannot be fulfilled without Assumption I and II. Hence, both I and II are implicit.
