Direction: In each of the following questions one /two statements are given followed by two conclusions (I) and (II). You have to consider the two statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. You have to decide which of the given conclusions, if any, follow from the given statements.

  1. Statements:
    (a) All students like excursions.
    (b) Some students like Laboratory experiments.
    Conclusions:
    (I) Students who like Laboratory experiments also like excursions.
(II) Some students do not like Laboratory experiments but likes excursion.
    1. Only (I) follows
    2. Only (II) follows
    3. Conclusions (I) and (II) follow
    4. Neither (I) nor (II) follows
Correct Option: C

Some is a part of All. Therefore, conclusion I follows. Since all students like excursion, therefore, Conclusion II also follows .
