Direction: In each of the question below are three statements following by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the three given statement to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decided which of the given conclusion logically follows from the three statements disregarding commonly known fact.

  1. Statement:
    Some buildings are benches.
    Some sofas are benches.
    Some benches are sofas.

    Conclusions:
    I. Some tables are sofas.
    II. No table is sofa.
    1. if conclusion I follow
    2. if conclusion II follows
    3. if either conclusion I or II follows
    4. if neither conclusion I nor II follows
    5. if both conclusion I and II follows
Correct Option: C

Some sofas are benches + Some benches are tables = I + I = No conclusion. Hence I and II do not follow by combination. However, since they make a complementary E-I pair, either of the two must follow.
