## Linear Arrangement

#### Linear Arrangement

Direction: Study the following information to answer the given questions:
Twelve people are sitting in two parallel rows containing six people each, in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In row 1, P, Q, R, S, T and V are seated and all of them are facing south. In row 2, A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row. A sits third to right of D. neither A nor D sits at extreme ends. T faces D. V does not face A and V does not sit at any of the extreme ends. V is not an immediate neighbour of T. B sits at one of the extreme ends. Only two people sit between B and E. E does not face V. two persons sit between R and Q. R is not an immediate neighbour of T. C does not face V. P is not an imediate neighbour of R.

1. Who among the following sit at extreme ends of the rows?

1. As per the given above question , we can see that
P, Q, R, S, T and V are seated and all of them are facing south.P is not an immediate neighbour of R.

##### Correct Option: C

As per the given above question , we can see that
P, Q, R, S, T and V are seated and all of them are facing south.P is not an immediate neighbour of R.It means that P and R are amongst the sit at extreme ends of the rows .
Therefore , option C is required answer .

1. Who among the following faces A?

1. From the given above question , we have
In row 2, A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north. A sits third to right of D. neither A nor D sits at extreme ends.

##### Correct Option: E

From the given above question , we have
In row 2, A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north. A sits third to right of D. neither A nor D sits at extreme ends.
From given figure it is clear that S of 1st row is face to A of 2nd row .

1. Who amongst the following sits exactly between P and Q?

1. From the given above question , we can say that
In row 1, P, Q, R, S, T and V are seated and all of them are facing south. In row 2, A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north.

##### Correct Option: D

From the given above question , we can say that
In row 1, P, Q, R, S, T and V are seated and all of them are facing south. In row 2, A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north.
Therefore , T is sit amongst the exactly between P and Q .

1. Which of the following is true regarding F ?

1. As per the given above question , we can say that
In row 1, P, Q, R, S, T and V are seated and all of them are facing south. In row 2, A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north.
First row of every element is face to the second row of every element .

##### Correct Option: E

As per the given above question , we can say that
In row 1, P, Q, R, S, T and V are seated and all of them are facing south. In row 2, A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north.
First row of every element is face to the second row of every element .
From given arrangement , we can see that second row of F faces first row of V.

1. P is related to V in the same way as C is related to F. which of the following is E related to, following the same pattern?

1. According to above given question , we have
P is related to V in the same way as C is related to F. Simillarly on the way of same pattern E is related to B.

##### Correct Option: A

According to above given question , we have
P is related to V in the same way as C is related to F. Simillarly on the way of same pattern , E is related to B.
From above it is clear option A is correct answer .
