Direction: In making decisions about important questions, it is desirable to be able to distinguish between ''Strong'' arguments and ''Weak'' arguments insofar as they relate to the question. ''Strong'' arguments are those which are both important and directly related to the question. ''Weak'' arguments are those which are of minor importance and also may not be directly related to the question or may be related to a trivial aspect of the question.

  1. Statement:
Should restriction on rickshaw-pullers and prisoners for donation of blood be removed?
    Arguments:
    I. Yes, by putting these restrictions, a large section of public are not able to donate their blood event their own relatives in emergencies.
II. No, blood donation is men to save people's life; if fingers are pointed towards someone's eligibility as a donor owing to possibility of non suitable or erroneous blood, then such persons must be restricted from doing so.
    1. if only argument I is strong
    2. if only argument II is strong
    3. if either I or II is strong
    4. if neither I nor II is strong
    5. if both I and II are strong
Correct Option: E

Both I and II are strong. I is strong because it is not necessary that all the rickshaw-pullers and prisoners have unsuitable bools. Hence, I stresses on the importance of bloods donation. Whereas II is strong because banning those persons from donation of blood is a good precautionary step.
