Direction: Study the following instructions carefully and then answer the questions that follow. In making decision about important questions it is desirable that a candidate should be able to distinguish between 'strong' and 'weak' arguments so far as they related to the questions and may be of minor importance or may be related to the trivial aspect of the question. Each question give below is followed by two arguments numbered I and II. You have decide which of arguments is a 'strong' argument and which open is 'weak' argument.

    Should small states be formed out of bigger states in India?
    Arguments
    I. Yes, there will be greater administrative convenience.
    II. No, it will jeopardize the national integration.
    1. If only Argument I is strong
    2. If only Argument II is strong
    3. If either I or nor II is strong
    4. If both I and II are strong
Correct Option: D

Clearly, if we form smaller states out of bigger one in India, there will be of greater administrative convenience. Hence Argument I is strong. Also, it may hamper the national integration. So, Argument II also strong. Hence, both arguments are strong.
