Direction: In each of the following questions a word is represented by only one set of numbers as given in anyone of the alternatives. The sets of numbers given in the alternative are represented by two classes of alphabets as in the 2 matrices given below. The column and rows of Matrix I are numbered from 0 to 4 and that of Matrix II from 5 to 9. A letter can be represented first by its row and next by column number. For example ‘C’ can be represented by 02, 21 etc. ‘T’ can be represented by 65, 96 etc. Similarly you have to identify the correct set for the word given in each question.

  1. JUMP
    1. 59, 57, 04, 03
    2. 66, 69, 11, 12
    3. 78, 88, 23, 23
    4. 85, 95, 30, 42
Correct Option: A

All possible representations of letters:
Matrix - I
D ⇒ 00, 12, 24, 31, 43
V ⇒ 01, 13, 20, 32, 44
C ⇒ 02, 14, 21, 33, 40
P ⇒ 03, 10, 22, 34, 41
M ⇒ 04, 11, 23, 30, 42
Matrix - II
S ⇒ 55, 67, 79, 86, 98
A ⇒ 56, 68, 75, 87, 99
U ⇒ 57, 69, 76, 88, 95
T ⇒ 58, 65, 77, 89, 96
J ⇒ 59, 66, 78, 85, 97
From given matrix it is clear that all the values for word JUMP are matched in only option ( 1 ) for every letter . So , the set for the word JUMP will be 59, 57, 04, 03 .From matrix , option ( 1 ) is required answer.
