Introduction to Data Interpretation

Direction: This is a pie-chart for the data on A, B, O, AB blood groups of 150 donors. Observe the pie-chart and answer the questions.

  1. The number of persons having either blood group ‘A’ or blood group ‘B’ is :
    1. 84
    2. 96
    3. 78
    4. 54
Correct Option: A

As per the given pie chart in question ,
Total number of A, B, O and AB blood groups of donors = 150
The corresponding angle of blood group ‘B’ donors = 129.6°
The corresponding angle of blood group ‘A’ donors = 72°
The corresponding angle of all blood group donors = 360°

Persons with blood group A or B =
(129.6 + 72)
× 150
360

Persons with blood group A or B =
201.6 × 150
= 84
360
