Direction: The bar graph shows the percentage distribution of the total expenditures of a company under various expense heads during 2005. Study the bar graph and answer the following four questions.

  1. If the expenditure on advertisement is $ 2.10 crores, then the difference between the expenditure on transport and taxes is equal to
    1. $ 65 billion
    2. $ 1.25 billion
    3. $ 35 billion

On the basis of given graph in question ,
Difference of percentage expenditure on transportation and taxes = 12.5 – 10 = 2.5%
Percent of expenditure on advertisement = 15%
∵ 15% = $ 2.10 billion

∴ 2.5% = $ 2.10× 2.5 billion
