The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) is a state owned company that operates the Delhi Metro in the National Capital Region of India. Besides operating the metro, the DMRC is also involved in the planning and implementation of metro rail, monorail and high speed rail projects in India. E. Sreedharan was appointed as the first managing director of DMRC. Sreedharan handed over charge as MD, DMRC to Shri Mangu Singh on 31 December 2011. Note : Mangu Singh (born 15 December 1955) is managing director of Delhi Metro. He took over as managing director after E.
