Correct Option: D
A reflecting telescope uses parabolic mirrors to create a magnified image of a celestial body like a star. In accordance with the order of Indian astronomers from ARIES Institute (Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences, Nainital), Belgian firm AMOS built Asia’s largest optical telescope. Before this, the largest of them – with the primary mirror with diameter 2.3 meters (for the time being – the largest optical telescope in Asia) was located at Vainu Bappu Observatory (Vainu Bappu Telescope) near the town of Kavalur in the south of India.
