    Jharkhand has the highest coal reserves of about 83 billion tonnes.
    Odisha is in second position with about 79 billion tonnes.
    West Bengal has coal reserves of around 32 billion tonnes.
    Madhya Pradesh has around 28 billion tonnes reserve of coal.
