Area of Rajasthan: 342,239 sq km
Area of Madhya Pradesh: 308,350 sq km
Area of Maharashtra: 307,313 sq km

The combined area of these states: 957,902 sq km

Now, the area of India = 3,200,000 sq km. 30% of this area comes to be around 960,000 sq km.
