Hydraulic energy is what is produced by the water which is stored in reservoirs and lakes at a high altitude. Gravitational potential energy is the energy an object possesses because of its position in a gravitational field. Kinetic energy of an object is the energy that it possesses due to its motion. Thus, tides have a combination of all the above three forms of energy.
