The full form of ISRO is the Indian Space Research Organization. ISRO is a space agency of the government of India. It is one of the largest space agency in the world. ISRO was founded on 15 August 1969 and headquartered in Bengaluru.
K. Sivan is the current chairman of ISRO.
Dr. Vikram Sarabhai is known as the father of India Space Program. ISRO developed India first satellite, Aryabhata on 19th April 1975.
ISRO develop Satellite product and other tools for India like geographic information system, Broadcast, weather forecasts, etc. It comes under the authority of prime minister and the space commission.
