  1. The full form of ABS is Anti-lock braking system. it is also known as electronic stability control. which monitors the wheel in heavy braking.

    It is used for the safety of automobile devices such as cars, aircraft, motorcycles, trucks, and buses. ABS system used for locking up the wheels during braking (emergency break to stop the vehicle).ABS was first introduced in the 1950s as an anti-skid system for aircraft use. and later in 1970s Ford and Chrysler proved that it can also be used in cars.

    The principal used in the ABS System is threshold braking and cadence braking.

    ABS system is used to control the balance of the vehicle and decrease the stopping distance of the vehicle on slippery and dry roads.
