                                        The full form of M.S is Master of Surgery. Master of surgery is a post-graduate degree in the field of surgery. Students who have successfully completed an MBBS degree are eligible to Purse an M.Sdegree. 
 Depending upon the degree it is also called Ch. M., M.Ch., M. Chir.
 
 Course Duration
 The course duration of the Master of surgery is 3 years.
 
 Eligibility
 The minimum criteria require admission to this course
 is to complete an MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by MCI with 50%  to 60% of marks.
 
 40% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates.
 
 The Candidates need to qualify medical entrance test called
 as NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test postgraduate) to take admission in M.S course.
