  1. The Full Form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE exam conducted yearly for post-graduation program in science & technology in India. GATE score reflects The performance level of candidate and it is valid for 3 years.

    GATE exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institute of Technology( Roorkee, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai and Mumbai )Ministry of Human Resource Department Government of India.

    Nowadays, GATE scores are also used by Indian public sector undertakings for Hiring graduate engineers.

    It is a computer-based standardized 3 hours test which is usually conducted in the month of January or February.

    Eligibility



    The applicant appearing for Gate exam must be a bachelor degree holder in Engineering/Technology/Architecture or studying in the last year of the program.

    Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications and those who are in the Last year of programs.

    Applicant qualified from professional societies recognized by UGC/AICTE(AMIE, AMICE)these courses are equivalent to BE/B.Tech.
