What is the full form of JEE?

The full form of JEE is Joint Entrance Examination. It is a competitive exam conducted for admission to various undergraduate engineering and architecture courses in India.
This test is conducted by the National Testing Agency twice a year in online mode.
The entrance exam is conducted in two parts JEE Main and JEE advance, students who pass the JEE Main exam are eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced Exam.
JEE main consist of two papers paper-1 and paper-2
Paper-1 is for admission in B.E./B.Tech course.
Paper-2 is for admission in B.Arch and B.Planning courses.
Both papers contain multiple choice of a question, candidate can opt for any or both the paper.
From January 2020 an additional Paper - 3 is being introduced for B.Planning courses separately.
In JEE Advanced the candidates are required to appear in both papers 1 & 2 of this test.
The number of attempts for this examination is three consecutive years.
Eligibility
candidates who have passed their class 12th exam or appearing in class 12th exam can appear in JEE Main exam.
