The full form of MD is the Managing Director. The managing director is one who is responsible for the daily operations of the organization. It is a senior most post in the organization and MD is responsible for taking all key decisions of the organization which includes, HR, Operations, Marketing, etc.
MD directly reports to the CEO of the organization, and act as a bridge between the employee and CEO.
In some organizations, MD is equivalent to the CEO position.Responsibilities
Developing and executing business strategies to achieve goals.
Supervise, guide and motive the employees.
Manage overall operations of organizations.
Represent the company in public events like engagements, public speaking, etc.
