The full form of TVS is Thirukkurungudi Vengaram Sundram. It is an Indian multinational motorcycle company founded in 1978 and the founder is Thirukkurungudi Vengaram Sundram Iyengar. TVS is headquartered in Chennai. It is the third-largest manufacturers of motorcycles in India and the second largest exporter with exports to over 60 Countries.
The annual sale of TVS is 3 million unit and an annual capacity of over 4 million vehicles.
History of TVS
T.V. Sundaram Iyengar started bus service in Madurai. He operates bus and truck services under the name of Southern Roadways Limited company, Later in 1978 the company was renamed and registered asTVS Motor Company Limited.
