  1. The full form of CPR is Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation. CPR is a life-saving procedure in a medical emergency like a heart attack or when the heart stops beating. If a person gets immediate CPR the chances of survival are increased because it keeps the blood flow active.

    How CPR is performed?



    Step1. Put the individual on their back on a firm surface.

    Step 2. Position your hand straight and interlock your fingers above the person's chest.

    Step3. Press down on the chest of the person about two inches and release the pressure. Push 100 to 120 compressions a minute.


    If you are an untrained person than in that case give chest compression until trained medical personnel take over.
