  1. The full form of KVB is Karur Vysya Bank. It is a Scheduled Commercial Bank in India. It was founded in 1916 by M. A. Venkatarama Chettiar and Athi Krishna Chettiar and headquartered in Karur, Tamil Nadu. It has completed 100 years of working and is one of the leading banks in India. The bank mainly working in treasury, corporate/wholesale banking and retail banking segments. As of March 2020, the bank has 798 branches and a network of 1780 ATMs and 565 cash deposit machines. Total business is 1,00,000+ crore and the total number of employees is 7211.

    History of KVB


    1. Karur Vysya Bank Limited was founded on 25 July 1917 by Mr M.A Venkatarama Chettiar and Mr Athi Krishna Chettiar, expand the all-around lacking merchants and ranchers area in and outside the town of Karur in Tamil Nadu.

    2. KVB started with a seed capital of 1 lakh, the seed capital has developed, as have the administrations sold.

    3. The Board of Directors, drawn from different fields, who manage and coordinates the bank.
