  1. The full form of TIN is Taxpayer Identification Number. It is a unique identification number which is used for tax purpose.

    TIN number is used to identify the trader or dealer who is registered under VAT. TIN consist of 11 digit unique number, the first two-digit are state code and the last nine-digit vary state to state. It is generally required for a businessman to do sale within the states or between two states registered with VAT.

    TIN number assigned by the commercial tax department of particular states.
